TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) is pleased to announce that the new platform of the eProcurement site (ePS) http://eps.taiwantrade.com.tw/ is now officially online. Starting from July 18th, 2008, the new platform offers a more efficient service to large-scale buyers with systematized program. The new platform features four items. In order to simplify the process of modifying the website content, buyers now can revise their data through the ePS online system without time and space limits. In addition, the new platform provides buyers an easy way to review the company profile of potential suppliers online. It also enables buyers to contact the potential suppliers through the online system in a more efficient way. Last but not least, in order to present users a fresh look, ePS has created a brand new layout in its Chinese website.

In order to encourage large-scale buyers to build a long term business relation with Taiwan suppliers, TAITRA has commenced its customized eProcurement Site in 2005. ePS is an online sourcing platform exclusively designed for large-scale buyer with an annual import value above USD $ 10 million. Once registration of the buyer is approved, a sourcing manager will be assigned to individual buyer to assist their multiple procurement interests and locate suitable suppliers. In addition, a buyer’s profile will be developed to present purchasing related messages between buyers and suppliers. ePS helps buyers to source the suitable suppliers accurately and efficiently. The service has also been highly recognized by world-known buyers such as BOSCH, Delphi, Siemens VDO (now Continental), Behr, Arcelik, Boise Cascade, The Source, etc.
